For the Eagles Anthony Aloi, Scott McAllester, Jessie McVeigh, Daniel Sinnott, Jayden Ranno and Flynn Gentile were among the best.

Despite the disappointing result, it was a proud day for the Gentile family with Flynn making his senior debut and putting in a very creditable performance. Club games record holder and father of Flynn, Angelo played 432 games for the the Eagles. Brother Ned, another outstanding Eagles Junior, plies his trade between the Eagles and Calder Cannons.


After beating Avondale Heights last round in a nail biter, the Reserves continued on their winnings ways with a 29 point win against Pascoe Vale. A good opening quarter saw the Eagles open up a 21 point lead before the Panthers fought back by half time reducing our lead to 8 points. After half time, it was the Eagles that dominated the scoring, holding Pascoe Vale to one goal in the 2nd half while scoring four of our own.

Best for the Eagles were McShanag, Micallef, Crawford, Laidler, Eddy and Yarnton.


In the battle of the Eagles, Craigieburn proved too strong running out 47 points winners.
